Re: exchanging door locks

Its real easy, I have done it. Simple take the handle off the door (2 bolts
on inside of door, pull out handle). The lock mechanism simple pops in and
out of the handle. When I got my car the driver's one had been replaced,
meaning a different key was needed to open that door and for the ignition.
I simple swapped locks with the passenger side so that the same key could be
used. I suggest doign this also...install the new lock in the passenger
side. My girlfriend was a little upset I couldn't be a gentleman anymore
and open her door for her without reaching across (as I only carried the one
key with me)! I gave her the key that open's that lock and told her she
could let herself in!!
Good luck, email if you have any questions.
