Re: Homemade adjustable cam gear




Hmm, that would make adjusting it easy now.  I'm fairly certain
that the 16v timing belt is wider then the 8v one.  If the teeth
count & spacing work out, along with turning the end of your cam into a
bit of cone (if I understand you correctly) the gear would probably
fit for an 8v...

You'd never catch me fitting a friction holding cam gear to a heavy
valve trained interference 16v engine though. :)
