That Puprle and White Coil Wire

What do you do with the early Mk1s when you swap in a later Eng.,
ignition wise?

I have the Electronic Points in place, am working on mounting the O2
sensor computer, but I'm concerned about the overlap of the early type
coil igniter setup vs. the later stuff.

Anybody been there, done that?
