RE: questions about euro lights

The inner lights can in fact be either fog or main beam, depending on the
year of manufacture. I have an '82 GL which has fogs and an '85 Storm which
has high-beam lights and they are definitely different - same size,
different lenses. The fogs have thic vertical ribs which spread the beam
widely. The high-beam lights have a similar pattern on the glass to the
main lights. I can't remember off hand if the fogs are handed ( i.e. marked
'L' or 'R')but the high-beam lights definitely are.
The p/n for the fog is 533-941-065, high-beam is 533-941-061. All cars
manufactured after 01.08.82 should have the high-beam lights.

Ewan.

they actually aren't driving lights, but fog lights, hence wiring thm into
the fog light switch.
