i don't have the neuspeed one, but i made my own.  i think it's great,
really gives a nice solid feel to shifting.  not as "notchy", and it
falls into gear easier.  great for speed shifting, too.  but i do
recommend just making one and saving the $50 they want for it.  i just
got two pieces of heavy steel and duct taped them to either side of the
rod.  then i put 3 hose clamps on top of that.  sounds shitty, but it's
lasted over a year in florida heat and 16V underhood temperatures with
no problem.  also made my own short shift kit.  again, this is very
easy, don't buy one.
