Re: Recaro Seats



Hubbub.  The stock seats in the 16v Scirocco are the in-house VW "Sport"
seats.  The upholstery may differ per model, but the same cushions found
their way into the late-80's Jetta Carat (frame differed as to make it
higher in the Jetta).  Corrado seats are similar, but a little wider in the
backside area.
The Recaro seats were stock on 16v GTi's and GLi's only... all other models
came from the factory with the various other good (but not super)
VW-designed seats.
