Uh, no.

I _have_ a defroster switch as well as the flasher.

Lets try again-

I have the standard Mk1 woodgrain dash.

It has three switch positions, one of which is blanked off and unused.

In addition it has two small circles in the faceplate. They are small,
1/8" maybe. One each on either side of the middle switch.

With the small textured vinyl around each hole it looks stock, but I
searched and didn't see any others.

Maybe no one knows.

It sound like the guy before you drilled them in. The dash behind the wood grain is probably the textured dash that is like in my S. They might have trimed around the drilled holes b/c the plastic wood grain got knarled by the drilling? Why they are there is a question I can't answer. I am 99% sure they are not stock holes. Maybe you have been staring at you dash for a long time and they are the after image of the tach and speedo? I don't know. Sounds like if ya want to really know where they go you could pull the dash. Pain, but answers (maybe).

I will be interested in what you find though.
