Scirocco Model

HAHAHAHHAHAHA

This morning I have in my hot little hands the elusive 1981
AMT/Matchbox VW Scirocco 1/25 kit still sealed in the little baggy. 
Before you ask, no, I don't know where to get another - try asking
around on rec.models.scale

And I didn't pay anywhere NEAR the 60$ tag they are fetching on Ebay

Now I need to go find a couple sets of 1/25th custom wheels, some
custom paint, some window tinting spray... (at least this won't be as
expensive as the real thing...)

But for now it's going on the shelf with the 79 Rabbit  & the 81
Westfalia.....

Now I need to find a Dasher & an A-1 jetta model.... :)

just thought I'd share the joy (and gloat a little ;)
