Well theres only a few things that it could be
I'd guess.
1) no spark, but you said it was sparking so
   I'd say thats not it.
2) no fuel, pull one of the injectors and crank
   the engine, you'll either see fuel or not
3) air, I'm not sure but I don't think its possible
   to completely block the air intake... so its 
   either point 1 or 2.  

One of the gurus can probably help more if you need
to know how to pull and injector.

Does it sputter at all?  Or just go RRRrrrrrr...
