Dear Fellow VW'ers,
I am very excited to announce our first meeting of our new VW club! Mark your
calendars for Sunday, February 21st, at 4:30 pm, at the BW3 restaurant/bar on
Woodlawn Ave in Charlotte (map and directions follow). This is an
organizational meeting, we will need to discuss (and vote on) a lot of issues:
1. Club name
2. Affiliations: pros and cons
3. Organization
4. Club officers
5. Future meeting time/place
6. Upcoming events to plan for
Please bring some note taking material, as well as thoughts and ideas on these
subjects. We want to leave some time to talk VWs as well!!!!
If there is any other issues which you feel need to be discussed, please let
me know and we can see about putting it on the list. I suggest we put off any
discussion of membership requirements and dues until the next meeting.
I hope you will make it. It's important for all of us to get off to a good
start!

Directions: Take I-77 to the Woodlawn exit. If you are coming via I-85 North
(from Gastonia, Spartanburg, etc.) take the Billy Graham Parkway exit from
I-85, and follow it all the way until you reach I-77, where it becomes
Woodlawn. Head east on Woodlawn ( the west exit here is marked "Billy Graham
Parkway", do not take that ), and BW3 will be up a block or so in the left.
