Re: Body Kit

The wide-body kit wraps around the entire car. It adds a unique 'fin' to
the side of the car and widens the wheel wells. Replaces bothe bumpers,
etc. I dont like it because I like the lines of the Scirocco to begin
with, and with this body kit on, it's almost unrecognizable. Anyhow, that
kit (unpainted) is selling for $3500, but you can chew them down a couple
hundred.

The ground-effect kit is nice. It also widens the wheel wells, but it
leaves the contour of the original Scirocco body alone, which I like. That
one is selling for $1600. Again, I think their salesman work on commision,
because I haggled with them for a few days and got several hundred dollars
off their list price.

In any case, good luck with the quality of the stuff you actually receive.
As I said before, my stuff had chips, cracks, and the fiberglass spoiler
had an uneven surface on top which took HOURS and HOURS of work to fix.
Their return policy blows, since they say that only THEY can determine if
it's defective and they say that possiblity is "highly unlikely becase all
of our merchandise is inspected before it leaves the warehouse"

I'm so bitter because I work in retail myself and I hate bad customer service.
