Actually, it is definately possible for you to have traveled that fast in
a 747. Im shocked that the so called Pilots on the list didnt point this
out already. If you were to travel in the jet stream, you could have had
a ground speed of 900 mph and an airspeed of 475 mph. (More realistic,
that speed translated to knots.)
