Besides a high to low level convertor you may find the amp in the bass
tube will accept High Level inputs; Bazooka tubes can AFAIK. 

Most bass units combine Left & Right to sum the two for a single input.
Maybe this is the case as well w/ your unit.

So reinvestigate if:

1. It will accept High level inputs, &
2. It will sum L & R for a combined signal.
