That is right. It just happened to me. The seal on my distributor went bad 
and the oil got in and trashed my hall sender, so my car wouldn't start. I 
had to get a new distributor...$189.00!!!!!! DO NOT get a used distributor. 
That's what I did about 4 months ago when I had my 2.0L put in, and now I had 
to get a new one anyway...
