air intake

<x-charset iso-8859-1>does anyone know anything about the air intake  hose thing....it seems
that the hose is kinda being blocked by body parts at the  front of the
car....makes a lot of suction noise too....would it benefit me to  move the
hose somewhere that it won't be blocked so much?

Or is this what many people remove and then drill holes in the plastic box
underneath the air filter?
