Re: Scirocco Newsletter?

Well gee guys thanks for all the support...............er...I think.

Jim, it will work jsut as I/we outlined a few months ago

Eric, I can send you the same information that I worked out with Jim,
augmented by the stuff the Dave Novak and I have been going over to get his
16V conversion running.

I am in the middle of writing a FAQ that describes the wiring for a CIS-E
conversion for both the MkI and MkII. I will gladly donate this to the
cause.

Also, as Eric points out, I'm swapping in a motronic system. I will, when I
get the wiring sorted out, include this in my electrical swap FAQ.

This information includes both the fuel and knock systems as well as how to
defeat the rev limiter, build a 16V power module like the TT unit and wire
up the 16V two speed fan to work both with and without A/C.

Anyone interested in this info before I am done can take a flying
leap....er... I mean contact me off the list.

hehe

runs)
