RE: Oil Pump ?

No need to get special sockets. Get an extender for a 3/8" ratchet with a
'wobble' end on it (can't remember the correct name for it!). The squared
end of the extender that fits into the socket has bumps in the middle of
each face, allowing the socket to wobble. It acts basically like a limited
universal joint, allowing the socket to sit onto the nut correctly even tho'
the ratchet/extender isn't perpendicular to the nut. I don't know offhand
if you would get a similar 1/2" socket/extender down the gap - might be too
tight for the socket.

HTH,

Ewan Hopkins
