RE: Battery hold-down compatibility



I'm talking about that stamped steel piece that clamps the front of the
battery down.  Mine seems to have walked off at some point before I got the
car.  The guy at my VWFLAPS didn't have one, but he suggested just drilling
a hole in a piece of metal, which I don't really want to do.  My brother has
one on his GTi, but I think he's going to want to keep it since the car is
his ride.
