Id have to disagree. 
A most reliable performance VW engine builder here on the west coast
used/sold these rings at one time. Then they began having problems with
them. Some cylinders would seal great, others not so great. They had to
tear down the motors to fix the problem too many times where in trhe
past, there never was a problem until they began to use the "Total Seal
Rings". After installing stock rings the motors came to life. Go figure. 
There simply wasnt enough consistency to consider them a good choice for
their motors or to sell to the public and the compression tests prooved
that. They not only dont use them any more, but they dont sell them
anymore either. They sent back the inventory back to the company as well.
Obviously not the best performer, maybe the best hype! :)
