RE: Rear disc conversion a big success

Well, you have to upgrade the booster because the 16V M/C won't bolt up to
the MkI booster. In addition to that required upgrade, you also have to
swap in the late model brake/clutch pedal assembly in order to attach the
clevis from the 16V brake booster to the brake pedal.

I tried this without changing pedals and had to fabricate a totally micky
mouse clevis extender that sometimes binds and makes my brake lights stay
on.....

Oh, that's another thing...when you upgrade to the 16V M/C you have to
re-wire the brake lights to work off a switch on the brake pedal assembly
because the MkI pedal cluster has no place for the switch.

While we are on the brake issue, anyone know which VW's and Audis now come
with the big dual piston calipers in the front?
