That has to be the best response yet Kevin!

Of course I could go on about us paying half of what they pay in England for
gas/petrol, but we all do know how lucky we are don't we? and how more
expensive gas would probably reduce the number of people jumping in their
Ford Exhibitions to drive a block for a quart of milk and pollute the skys 3
times more than us in our VW's, it would probably make driving less popular
for kids (because it would be too expensive) and therefore reduce the number
of accidents involving young drivers (who stats show have a higher accident
rate than any other group) the extra money could be used to increase public
transportation efforts, improve roads, add bicycle trails to the sides of
the roads etc etc etc blah blah blah of course we know it would probably go
towards a pay increase for politicians and we'd see no benefit

The list goes on.
