AFAIK, the Sciroccos was never made in Wolfsburg.  
They were all done by Karmann at their own factory, as were all the cabrios,
karmann ghias, etc.
I remember reading something saying that they were the biggest drop-top
specialist in the world.

uhh wolfsburg editions from what i know means absolutly northing more than
it was made in wolfsburg...no value/options added. Same car!
