And these guys think replacing the wussy little passenger side motor
mount is a PITA! HEH! Thats NOTHING compared to changing the rear mounts
on the Jetta. The front mount can be a pain as well. Its not a fun job.

To replace the rear mounts, you will need to loosen the bolts that hold
the sub frame. Its kind of like installing a swaybar type deal. You dont
need to drop the subframe, just loosen it a bit so you can get the old
mounts out. Be prepared to get in some wierd positions to get the bolts
out, its a slow proccess but it gets done. If you can get the rear mounts
out (oh, one at a time too, or it will fall down, silly.) the front mount
is easier. With any luck, you have the solid front mount and although its
easier to get at, there is a mount like the passenger mount that needs
pressing. Otherwise you just swap the hyd mount up front.
Oh crap, WFT is this on, an A1? A2?? If its an A1, its the same as a
Scirocco.

Nothing like details....... Theyre not important are they? sheist.
