Timing lights with an adjustment for adcance.  I use the mark for 
6deg on the flywheel and set my light for 9 deg and whola!  I bought 
it at sears for like $60 a few years back

so how do y'all know you have 15 degrees of timing? i though that there were
just marks for zero and three degrees- I set mine just above the 3 degrees and
it is better. not good but better.

how do you know then?
