The 19_88_ 924S had the 2.5 out of the 944S.  It had 158 normally aspirated
HP.  An interesting fact is that the 924S actually had a top speed that was
a few MPH faster than the 944S due to less drag from the narrower, cleaner
body shape.  But with it's wider track and much larger wheel/tire combo the
944S was the much better handler.
