Heres how I did it on my GLi's cluster. I got a set of cutom made guage
faces from the Brett meister.
I got a black background with red numbers and tic marks. not easy to see
at night with a green lighting so I used a set of needle nose pliars and
got a good grip on the green filter and began to twist the pliars until
the entire strip was rolled up on the pliars and then I simply removed
the plairs from the cluster housing. I broke off the filter in 2 places
where its rivited inside as I recall.
It doesnt leave any green color at all now and is in fact, white light on
the black background. Looks cool to me! Id like to put in some red bulb
condoms to make the red numbers and tic marks glow a little more. That
would be cool me thinks.
HTH!
