More seat stuff

With all this talk about seats, how about some hints on fixing the
stretched cables that lift the inboard hook so you can flip the seat
forward?  One of my sets of 16v Scirocco seats requires me to manually
lift the metal hook nearest the E brake.  It does move some when I lift
the lever, so I know the cable is still intact and just needs to be
shortened.

Any suggestions would be appreciated
