Engine swap.

I have an 85 8V, and I'm looking to get some more power (and hopefully a bit
better fuel economy).  It's got 250k kms, and the gas mileage is now like
300 clicks per tank.  I'm wondering what the best step is to take:  a
new/rebuilt engine swap, or rebuilding the one I have and adding
"enhancers".
