Re: CV JOINT



I've never been able to afford new half shafts.

I agree that new ones will last much longer, but I've certainly gotten
more than 30,000 miles out of the reconditioned ones.

I hope to get new ones when I put the new powerplant in the '82.

This is pretty much what I heard too.  It's not just the ball bearings
that
possibly lack the 'hardening', but the cage seats that the ball bearings
sit
inside.
