Re: cam redline?



There are also distributor rotors with built-in centrifugal switches that
act as rev-limiters - I think they are set to cut-out at about 6500rpm.

I was under the impression that the rev limiter on our cars is just a little
cutout on the fuel pump relay when the revs get too high. I think some cars
had
them and some cars didn't.
