Don't most of the 84 Sciroccos come with JH engines to begin with?  I
looked at three different 84s while in Boston, and all had JHs.  Only one
was a Wolfsburg.   You're in Canada, right?  Could have something to do
with it, but either way, a JH with cam/exhaust/intake work makes for a
decently quick car.  If I were going to the trouble of replacing a motor &
did not care about rules, though, I'd put a 2.0 something in it.  Just me.
Which engine does your Scirocco have?  Curious.
