Re: 88' Jetta GL stalls when cold...



mine did the same thing, check your oil level, mine was low and the 
low oil pressure would cause a very rough start when cold but then 
fine when warm. can't believe it was such a simple fix. If your oil 
level is ok, try maybe the warmup regulator or idle stabilizer valve.
