how wiring

No, i'm not asking how to steal a car :)  I'm just wondering if there is
any other way to "hot" wire things like power windows and such?  Is there a
spot on the fuse box that goes directly to battery, so i can roll up my
windows when the car is off, or have my power locks (that i'm 1//2way
through installing right now) work??  Or do i just have to go to the
batter?
