Re:[HELP] [WATERCOOLED VW]

My Xwife <grrrrr> takes great care of her 1990 Jetta (the one I bought). 

On Sunday, the metal cooling pipe that goes back to the heater hoses (and
the expansion tank) rusted through. I'm sure this has nothing to do with
her exemplary maintenance habits  ("It broke down - I need a new car!")

Any ideas for a temporary fix so that I can drive it back to her house
for repairs (by me, of course)???????

1)call a tow truck & recommend a garage for your xwife or

2) use a peice of pressure hose for a hydraulic system that has worked for me.
