I mixed Mercedes-Benz "black-metallic" with clear varnish
and applied it with a spray pistol.

you have to try a bit before on an old piece of plastic
until you have the right mixture and thickness !

but the result is great :
absolutely not dull, shining like your paint,
black like the night and
the turn-signals can still be seen in orange when on.

I applied it 5 years ago and it¥s still like new.

As this mod is not legal in Germany, I put in addition
 black Golf II turn signals in my front bumper. (they are legal)
I put them as far in the bumper that the surface of the t.s.
alignes with the bumper-surface. So they are almost
invisible until turned on.

If you have Euro-bumpers, you will have to cut out
the metal in the bumper too, to fit them completely in.
