I believe that Scirocco 16v's came factory with 185 60 14's, and Golfs
and Jettas came with 195 60 14's. I put a set of wheels and tires off an
88 GTI 16v (teardrops) on my 82 rocco and they tend to rub on the front
when I turn the wheel pretty far and hit a good bump, mine is lowered,
but I have a very stiff setup. Sometimes they even rub the inner fender
well liner when I turn the wheel all of the way to the left.
