TB bolts and other interesting things, according to me.

I just wanted to share (Brag) my little experience today with my Tb bolts
on both my Scirocco and GLi.

My GLi had broken one of its throttle switches (idle) and needed a
replacement quick. (runs/drives awfull.)
So I decided to borrow the ones that are on my Scirocco since I STILL
don't HAVE MY KNOCK SENSOR INSTALLED. RIGHT MIKE!!!!

Athem, anyway. I used my breaker bar with my hex socket and broke the
torque of all 8 bolts for both TB's without stripping them or anything
bad. I also didn't use any penetrate either. Impressed? I was after I
thought I should use it but was too lazy to go back into the garage to
get it. The TB on the GLi probably hasnt been off since it was put on at
the factory. There's really nothing of value here, just me saying
"neener-neener" I suppose.

Last item:
(I know, should'nt drink coffee this late. Sue me.)
Somebody recommended putting injectors in Berrymans or the like cleaner
worked. I have a can of some cleaner type stuff that ive had since 1990!
Its seriously wicked stuff too. When I first used it, I would just plunge
my hand into the can (dummy) to retrieve the part I wanted. Within a few
minutes my hand was numb! So I used pliers to get them out this time. (7
years later and I still remember, amazing!)
I let them soak for about three hours while I replaced the whole shifter
in my GLi and painted my calipers. I used a compressor to force some of
that cleaner through the injectors to try and help clean them a bit
better. After I reinstalled them back into my car, (Scirocco) it seemed
to run the same, maybe a teencie bit better but they sure did look pretty
before I put them back in! Like new!

I know. Sha-dup!
