I use Neuspeed Race Springs on the street in my daily driver. Before I
got the Neuspeed Race springs and Koni shocks (The best combo for the
buck, IMHO) I had a set of Neuspeed Lowering springs and stock (cheap)
KYB shocks/struts. (You can see the comparison between the 2 on my web
page. ) The KYB was just not firm enough to handle the rates of the
springs. On some sections of my local freeway I would get some
bouncy-bounce that wasn't very fun. Im sure a decent set of shocks would
of fixed that little annoyance.

In fact, I still have those lowering springs if your interested in them.
I initially didn't want the race springs because I felt they would be too
stiff and uncomfortable on the street. The Potterman bullied me into
buying them with the Koni's. Its the best move i've ever made with my
car. I love the setup! The ride is firm, yet comfortable. (if my mom
didnt complain, then they MUST be ok!) The adjustability of the shocks is
great since I do autox my car as often as I can. Since you have the Boge
shocks, they will work for you. I forget which Boge shock works better
with a lowering spring, but I think its the Progas. (Im sure somebody
knows.)
I was amazed as to how much faster the car got on the autox course with
this setup. Even testing on my test roads showed the improvement.
HTH!
