Re[2]: a/c compressor
Well, the good news would be all it needs is a recharge, or you wire
came disconnected from the pressure sender on the system.
The bad news (which may be since you said it was blowing real cold,
then suddenly stopped) is the compressor is bad. Jump the wires on
the pressure sender (2 green wires comming off of one of the lines
into the compressor) or from personal experience on my Jetta, I was on
the freeway, blowing cold, took a rock into the condensor, and lost
all the freon.

Chances are good that you simply need a recharge in your A/C system. Low
pressure will keep the compressor from running. Its a safety feature so
you dont chew up the expensive parts.
