A fried of mine actually got a ticket for driving barefoot. The way the cops
got him was they pulled him over for speeding and then noticed he didn't have
any shoes on.

Also I was in a real bad car wreck when I was 17. I was driving my Dads/Mine
POS '65 Mustang anyway like all 17 year old drivers I thought I knew everything
about driving. Long story short sometime during the wreck I lost my shoes. I
was wearing deck shoes and still to this day my right foot is mostly scar
tissue and all my toes were broken in my right foot. I still can't move them
very well. They look all crusty and nasty too.

Moral Maybe just maybe if I was wearing tight fitting shoes my foot would have
been ok. I think I caught my foot on the car door while being ejected through
the window.

Then again if I would have just known my driving limitations and the cars many
limitations I would have been 100% OK.
