I'm sure that my rocco was NOT built in mexico.  I'm certain that it 
didn't even touch Mecican territory.  After all the plastic sticker 
near the driver's window doesn't say :

Karmann-el-taco-tortillas-di-tequilla!

It is printed inside the doors:  MADE IN ´ DEUTCHLAND ª
