Muffla shops

Turning the corner to get back to campus, my g-friend's probe's (yuck!)
exhaust fell apart at the cat.  I'm not touching the damned thing,
especially in a parking lot w/ no tools.  I recall someone complaining about
a particular muffler shop.  Can anyone steer me towards/away from any
particular shops, i.e. meineke/jiffy lube/??
