There is no nice drain plug under your radiator.  Sad, but true.  Sounds
like you might have a pin hole or two.  I've had some luck with stop-leak
products, BUT your milage may vary.  The plastic Scirocco radiators are not
a good candidate for stop-leak due to it's small passages, you could go to
a wrecking yard for a late model radiator.  I'm fairly certain that some 
later ones would fit, even from some VW cars other then the Scirocco.  But
hey, if a new one was only $90, I'd probably go that route.  Oh, you drain
your radiator, usually, by taking off the lower hose that runs to the
water pump.  You'll probably want to take it off the pump and not the
radiator so at least you'll have a chance of directing where the coolent
goes by aiming the hose into a bucket or something. :-)
