Heater Fan problem - desperatly need help

I hope that doesnt sounds too dramatic, but its 12 degrees and My heater fan
isnt working.  Tends to hurt visibility and numb fingers =(

Anyway my haynes manual is completly usuless in troubleshooting, it only
gives me directions on how to remove the fan.  I know it was working before I
went on a 2 week vacation.  The car was outside for the duration of the 2
weeks, it was very very cold (as anyone who lives in the north knows...)

If anyone has experienced similar probs or knows what the sorce of the prob
might be, please let me know!
