Ok, just did that, 5lbs, each. 
Im my world (yours may vary) I use Ferrodo's with the later Scirocco vented 
rotors. (I used to have the solid rotors but since I have changed to the 
vented, found them to be a little better. Especially those "fast on the 
street"  episodes.) Im yet to get them to fade, or warp the rotors. Having the 
wrong pad can and will overheat the rotor/ warping it. I wish I knew why they 
work so well, they just do is all. They're just a good, grippy, cool working 
pad.
