Project Euro-Spec GTi 1.6L

HELP! 

I finally found a source for a 1.6L "Heron" flat-bottom head (Euro 1.6 GTi
spec , 9.5:1 compression) and the matching piston set. Before I order, I
want to be absolutely sure the head with piston upgrade are a "bolt-on" to
the US spec block and bottom-end.

Has anyone done this mod? 

The info that I have....

Compression             8.2:1              9.5:1

The only other difference that I can find has to do with the injectors, the
EG Euro head uses threaded injectors! Ever seen those on a 1.6L?
