honing a throttle body

I have a neuspeed thottle body (purchased by a previous owner) and I 
am going to grind the intake to take advantage of the larger throttle 
body openings.  The question is, should I grind the spacer that 
neuspeed privides with the throttle body or should I remove the 
spacer all together and grind out the intake that much more?
