Funny that you should mention this.  I've always told people that if I
there never had been a Scirocco, I'd want to have one of the older Toyota
Supra's (based purely on looks alone).  Not the cheesy ones, one of the
ones with fat tires, the black and silver deeply concave rims, a squatted down 
suspension, and that big friggin' wing across the rear hatch glass.  
(Insert Tim Taylor GRUNT here).

I don't know a thing out the performance or engine though.


Now to make this post somewhat more Scirocco related, does anyone know
what the probably causes (and fixes) are for frozen emergency brake cables?
The 85 Scirocco I just bought has a few problems, this being one of them.
Could it just be the interal swing-arma actuators on the brake shoes, or are 
the pull cables in the tubes running under the car likely to be perm-stuck?  
How big a mess could this be?
