The Neuspeed throttlebody even comes with a adapter(sandwhich) plate that
restricts it back down to stock size, talk about taking a shower with your
raincoat on. If you want a larger throttlebody get an intake manifold from
a 1.8l Fox, it has the opening already cut out for the larger
throttlebody, then you can use the throttlebody from a '83-'88 (i beleive)
Audi 5000, they have the larger butterfly valves, you just have to alter
the throttle linkage assembly a bit, no big deal, I have done it many
times for myself and friends. But with all this said, you won't notice a
bit of difference on a stock motor, but if you add it after a nice cam and
exhaust system, you will notice a difference. Hope I was enlightening.
