Bar on the left side of the driver seat. right of the passenger.  Pull it up
and the seat would drop to many different heights of your choosing.  They
can be found in all the Ss as I understand it.  Someone tell me if I am wrong.

        I installed a set of these on my '84 GTi and am very pleased.
